Frederick Collins, 27th Reinforcements, Canterbury Infantry Regiment, embarked for Devenport, UK on 13 June 1917, arrived UK 19 October 1917, was found to have flat feet and was unsuitable for war service. He was returned to New Zealand, arriving there 8 January 1918 and was discharged the following month......... THIS BRITISH WAR MEDAL WAS HIS ONLY ENTITLEMENT. Comes together with his SILVER WAR BADGE, numbered NZ6475 on the reverse. Very Fine condition.
