Named to: 4/469 SPR. R. DONNELLY, N.Z.E.F......... Robert Donnelly, Tunnelling Company, NZ Engineers, embarked New Zealand for Plymouth 18 December 1915, posted to France 9 March 1916 where he served until June 1917 when he got a problem with his eyes, and had to be treated at the NZ general Hospital at Walton in the UK. This resulted in him being found no longer physically fir for war service and he returned to New Zealand on 24 December 1917. His discharge came on 2 March 1918. Very Fine condition.
